Long acronyms and industry-specific jargon can get in the way of the audience’s understanding. Our advice? Ask yourself: who are you speaking to, and what kind of language do they use every day?

The great thing about what we do is that even though we’re not experts in the fields we create stories for, we’ve effectively decoded government, chemical, health, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, customer service, and all kinds of other “speak” for video scripts. We do it by asking loads of questions to understand the subject, the problems, the solutions … and the jargon and to translate that into clear, easy-to-understand language that helps keep an audience engaged and knowledge-elevated!
We love fancy $5 words as much as the next person, but honestly, the more straightforward the language, the more effective your message is.
So, for your next video, just remember…Keep it simple and speak like a human.
