Meet the team!

Janine

Founder / Executive Producer

Janine founded Keyring Media in 2008 and has spent the years since helping organizations turn complicated messages into video people actually understand. She holds an MBA from Royal Roads University and a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design, credentials that show up directly in how she approaches every project, from the first strategy conversation to the final cut. Outside the studio, you’ll usually find her volunteering with youth or elbow deep in a native plant garden, chasing down whatever needs tending to next, apparently, helping things grow is just her thing.

Charlie

Creative Director / Animator

Charlie spent the first decade of his career as an editor and designer crafting in-flight content for Air Canada and on-air promos for networks including Food Network, History Network, and HGTV. Since then, he’s followed his interests in education, human behaviour, and storytelling toward work that draws people in and shares ideas, favouring design that’s clean, colourful, and a little whimsical. Outside of work, you’ll find him tinkering in the wood shop, harvesting in the garden, deckbuilding in a card game, or crafting narratives with friends over a tabletop RPG.

Zach

Editor / 3D Artist

Zach studied at Mohawk College, bringing a love of animation and emerging technology to his work as an Editor and 3D Artist at Keyring. Before joining Keyring, he spent 15 years as a media technology instructor for newly landed refugees, teaching multimedia skills that built English fluency through group work and problem-solving. Outside the studio, he’s usually out for a bike ride or swim with his two young kids, teaching them everything he knows about hockey, or tending to his backyard vegetable garden.

Stefani

Editor / Motion Designer

Stefani studied at OCAD University and has spent the past three years growing as an editor and motion designer at Keyring, while also lending her eye to sales and marketing. Working across the Adobe Suite, she brings a sharp eye for detail to every project, from training videos to animated explainers. Outside the studio, she’s been selling her artwork at local markets and has served as illustrator for a children’s book published in the Dominican Republic. And when she’s not creating, you’ll find her curled up with a good book and her pup Coco.

We started Keyring Media in 2008 with a simple goal: bring real craft and quality to organizational video. From the beginning, we believed video wasn’t just about looking good; it was about actually landing with people, being understood, remembered, and acted on.

That belief is why everything we make is grounded in instructional design principles… in how people actually learn, remember and act. Whether it’s a safety procedure, a policy change, or a story about impact, our job is to make it work.

Nearly two decades later, that’s still the whole point. We don’t just make video. We make sure it works.
