Spotlight: Pipeline Contractors Association of Canada (PLCAC)

Jul 28, 2025

Associations are built on connection, education, and advocacy, and video plays a unique role as a moderator, teacher, and champion in accomplishing these goals.

Over the years, we’ve worked with associations across various sectors, including mental health, energy, business & management, human resources and marketing.  They all recognized video as a tool to amplify their voice and engage their members…but needed help developing the right strategy to have the biggest impact possible. And that’s the fun part of our job, finding the best way to bring the message to life and inspire their members. Whether it’s celebrating milestones, sharing ideas, or spotlighting thought leaders, video is essential in facilitating meaningful member engagement.

I’m excited to highlight some of the creative ways associations are using video to educate, inspire, and elevate their communities. One example comes from an association we’re currently collaborating with, and their story reflects just how powerful and purposeful video can be when it’s grounded in trust, intention, and clarity.

I’m proud of the work we’re doing with the Pipeline Contractors Association of Canada. Working with their Safety Committee, we’re recreating serious jobsite incidents using 3D animation to illustrate what happened and, more importantly, what we can learn from them.

These are not easy stories to tell, but they are essential. PLCAC has demonstrated real leadership in creating content that not only informs but also helps protect its people and reinforces a culture of safety across the industry. It’s a powerful example of how video can be used to visualize risk, foster reflection, and ultimately drive change.
